THE SOUTHAMPTON INSTITUTE CONFERENCE CENTRE IS SITUATED
IN THE CITY CENTRE AND IS WELL EQUIPPED TO CATER FOR ALL CONFERENCES,
LECTURES, TRAINING SESSIONS AND MEETINGS.
It is air conditioned for comfort, with two tiered lecture
theatres both seating between 170-190 delegates and fully equipped
with a high standard of Audio Visual facilities.
In addition there are two large reception suites and over
50 syndicate and classrooms cater for training sessions, exams, meetings
and breakouts
from the main conference.
The Centre is proud to boast an award for the access and
facilities offered to those with specific needs.
Other facilities which are available on the main campus,
and at the Warsash Maritime Centre, include an impressive boardroom as
well
as further
classroom and meeting rooms.
In the Summer months they can provide modern, comfortable
rooms in one of the seven purpose-build Halls of Residence, many of which
incorporate ensuite, kitchen/diner and laundry facilities. All just a
short walk away from the Conference Centre.
For those delegates requiring more luxurious accommodation,
we can arrange this at one of Southampton's many hotels.
Aramark, the caterers for Southampton Institute, have been recognised
by gaining the ISO 9002 Quality Accreditation - which guarantees you
the highest standards. We can tailor suggested menus to your specific
requirements.
Every room is AV equipped as standard. They can even
offer Video Conferencing facilities. A dedicated AV team is on hand
at all times to provide any technical assistance you require.
